Those items and set items is what's keeping the people play. The thing is in this game that shadow gear is all equal considering you could infinetely reroll the stats so why not add some kind of 'legendary' weapons with unique effects on them like in diablo. What the game needs imo is not a way to earn credits or cubits as time filler but a bigger purpose for the grind. Robotic Salvage is a even bigger grind and not to mention the pemblock.Īlso you can just do uber quests and get those shadow keys running and afterwards do some Arena for shadow gear. Other than the daily quest you can grind for stuff like Bleashed Bones to craft the mount for example.

First of all, you could just grind the novice world like a madman and you could easily make 1.2k cubits per hour and more. What are your thoughts on this? I'm still very new to the game and am still figuring things out, and I realize there needs to be a long term goal that can't be completed too quickly which would discourage putting real money into the game (which needs to be an option so they can make money), but right now it just feels like I'm only playing for about an hour a day before I feel like I'm working towards nothing until it resets. It just seems like right now, at my current level of 12, just getting into the Uber 2 world, there is a lot of "dead time", or otherwise time that feels wasted completing dungeons when my Star Bar is on cooldown, and it loses it's incentive to complete since the only other reward is items, which are outshined most of the time by Shadow Arena items. Maybe some large secondary quests that will net you credits for clearing out an entire biome of it's dungeons? Would some kind of small credit reward on dungeon completion be too generous? I'm thinking somewhere around 10-20 credits per boss kill/quest completion. Not a bad deal, but it makes all the inbetween time seem like a waste.

Even then, it only nets you 500 credits which means 10 days of Star Bars to unlock a class.

The only problem is, it takes about 30 minutes at most of dungeon crawling to fill the Star Bar, then after that it's just waiting for the reset to roll over to earn any more. I like the idea of the Star Bar and how it closely resembles "daily quests" from MMO's, and think it's a great way to earn a currency to spend to unlock mounts and classes and such. So I just got into Trove a couple days ago and have really been enjoying it.
