It took me about 1 month to start working really fast with grease pencil, you can check my profile to see some animations I did with Blender, the still images where done in inkscape.īlender may seem daunting at first, but if you invest the time to learn the ropes, it's totally worth it, because there are tons of tutorials about every feature, constant updates, and it's 100% free. (I should add, this tutorial is rather outdated, by now grease pencil has received many updates and new features!) Here's a great tutorial to get an idea of what the program looks like. It has an amazing tool called "grease pencil", you can make high quality animations, or still images if you want to. Hi, for animation I would highly recommend giving Blender a try.
